A behaviour diagnosis and treatment or training plan are discussed during the consultation once information has been collected with a written report to follow within two weeks. Support is given by email or telephone. Progress can vary for each case. Implementing the treatment plan and the pets’ welfare and behaviour are the owner’s responsibility at all times.
The consultation fee includes a home visit or remote assessment, a report detailing the diagnosis and treatment plan and email or telephone support for 12 weeks post-consultation. Around 2-3 weeks post-consultation, there will be a follow-up email to ask how the pet is responding to their treatment plan. Pet owners then have the responsibility for follow-up if needed within the rest of the period. Extra consultations are not generally required, but are chargeable if requested by pet owners. For in-person consultations or follow-up visits, a travel fee may be applicable. The travel fee is confirmed at the enquiry stage.
The full consultation fee, and travel fee where applicable, is due at the time of confirming the consultation. Payment is by bank transfer. The client can cancel the booking up to two weeks before the consultation. Consultation dates cannot be re-scheduled at less than two weeks notice other than with extenuating circumstances at Jayne Lockey’s discretion. Cancellations within the two weeks lead-time are chargeable and the fee will be non-refundable.
